At First Steps Childcare, it is our belief that every family has a right to high quality childcare. We will provide high quality care in a positive and stimulating environment geared to the needs of the family.

The key influence on a child’s learning process is the child’s sense of self-identity. The way children feel about themselves is directly connected with the way in which they relate to others, and how others relate to them.

A child is a person in his or her own right, and is therefore, entitled to respect and consideration, cultural nurturing and understanding by those responsible for the child’s care and education.
